In my opinion, this is the best fragrance of the line (not counting Sauvage Elixir, which is a different beast): not as brutal as the Sauvage EDT and not as lethargic as the Parfum. Also, not as smoky as either of them. Compared to the EDT, it's more citrusy, which makes it more similar to the Blue de Chanel line, and I think it has less ambroxan. Still, it is an ambroxan-based scent and the rest of the package is just a background. However, it's a nice background, as I would expect from Dior. I'm curious how it would smell without ambroxan. As it is, Bleu de Chanel Parfum blows this fragrance out of the water in terms of sophistication and balance, I would say. Unless you want smoky ambroxan, of course.

Great review as usual ! If you can get your hands on Salvo Intense or Salvo Eau de Parfum from Maison Alhambra (both $18-20), direct clone of Dior sauvage 85-90%. I highly recommend them !
