Mainly spicy, dry, warm, moderately sweet. In short, spicy chocolate. It smells like hot chocolate you’d be served in a fancy cafe: “one chocolate with ginger and ginseng coming up!”
Very chill in character, one could say low energy. A fragrance for cold weather and for nights. There are two main parts to this scent: spicy and chocolate. The spicy part is hypnotic and slightly medicinal, and grabs you in a way that can be unpleasant. Metaphorically, it smells like glitter in your nose, a lot of tiny shiny sparkling particles. The sweet part with nice cocoa and caramel is hidden behind, or maybe induces nose blindness. At least the scent is not too sweet. It is dry, though. I am not a fan of this composition, too much glitter. Get Hugo Boss The Scent Private Accord - similar idea, better execution.
In broader context, the medicinal-sweet setup makes Pure XS Night similar to Baccarat Rouge 540, its clones like Franck Olivier Pure Addiction, and Parfums de Marly Haltane. I don’t like this archetype and would prefer this perfume because it’s only partly into it.
The bottle fits the fragrance only in that it suggests that it's a night scent and that the letters are golden.
