This fragrance is sweet and rosy on one hand, and sharp and brutal on the other. The gentle part is really nice and I love it. The brutality is of warm spicy nature and is tobacco-flavoured. In my opinion, tobacco is overdone, and spoils the scent.
The overall expression is warm spicy and woody, with a sweet floral background. I don’t like the balancing, they should have toned down the brutality.
This perfume is completely unrelated to Egoiste Platinum. The alternatives I know and like are Maison Alhambra Kismet for Men and Exuma Acqua Intense Man. Kismet is similarly sweet and spicy, but without overdone tobacco. Acqua Intense is sweet, rosy, and non-aggressive, with just hints of spicyness and tobacco.
Egoiste’s longevity is legendary, it keeps going strong after 12 hours. The bottle fits the scent.

(if I’m generous)
I have never tried this myself but I am surprised you enjoy this given it has tobacco hence why I assume it is dialed back.
