An Aventus clone
Compared to the other Aventus look-alikes I know, that is Montblanc Explorer, Tonino Lamborhini Invincibile, and La Rive Black Creek, this fragrance stands out by how smoky it is. For my taste, it's way too smoky, to the point of being off-putting. Explorer is not smoky at all, and both Invincible and Black Creek are somewhat smoky, just about right. If you subtract the smokiness, Club Parfum smells much like Explorer, but a little better, because the fruits are more juicy. For me, the fruits are the highlight of the scent. Unfortunately, they are somewhat buried beneath other notes, except the citrus. The start is mainly citrus, similarly to Invincible, but while in Invincible it's mostly citrus zest, in Club there is actual citrus. Initially it's sickly sweet and insipid, so you need to wait 15-30 minutes for the scent to settle. In about four hours, the smokiness subsides and the scent enters its best, suave phase. Overall, a good fragrance which could be better if re-balanced a bit.

which CDNMI is this ? I read the title says Parfum ( assuming you meant the pure parfum 150ML bottle ? ) but the photo is that of the EDT.
As for the scent, it really depends on which version of CDNMI you go for, the EDT, as you said the opening is both citrusy and smoky due to the birch strong presence. After 30mins, it starts losing that smokiness and becomes more enjoyable. And btw, it is actually my SOTD !
