Eau Fraiche means Fresh Water, and fresh it is, although not in a typical way: it’s citrus-spicy-salty-musky fresh. It also has a soapy cool component in the background, similar to Versace Pour Homme, although way less pronounced. Overall it kind of smells like very salty, freshly mown grass. I think spicy and fruity notes combine to this grassy effect. Herbe Fraîche, Fresh Grass, might be an appropriate name. This fragrance is, or was, a "meh" for me, probably due to cardamom content. Women seem to like it, though, and it grew on me. I would probably still prefer very similar Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense, though. It’s less spicy, more salty, and more chill.
