I usually steer clear of car brand perfumes, because I believe most of them are mediocre. This came up high in recommendations from my AI model, and was readily available, so I decided to test.
At the beginning, it's mostly bitter leather, then sweet leather, which on one hand is quite strange as there's no leather note listed officially. Just goes to show not to believe everything they post. On the other, leather is a very good match for the brand. The scent is well blended and congruent. It exudes quality I'd expect from Mercedes. It is evident they crossed their t's and dotted their i's, with one exception: it's an EDP, not a parfum like the name would suggest (though performance is certainly worthy of a parfum). Otherwise branding is perfect and the bottle fits the scent very well. The fragrance has a mature vibe fitting the population of Mercedes drivers. Younger people might find it boring.
As time goes by, the leather fades oud, violet, and pepper take the center stage. At this point, the scent is warm, sweet, spicy, and woody, with a welcome floral twist from violet. While I understand the pepper is there to provide counterbalance to the sweetness, I am not a big fan of pepper and I wish they tone down it a little bit, because as it is, it disturbs the gentle and relaxed vibe of the fragrance. The pepper subsides eventually and what's left is residual warm sweetness, which you can still very easily smell over 12h after application.
