Sweet spicy cloud

Le Parfum is less sweet than Le Male EDT, but still powdery and cloying. It's more aromatic and spicy, and a bit sour. In terms of structure, it's thinner and more uniform. If the EDT is like a jar of syrup or honey, this is like a dense, homogenous, aromatic and sweet cloud, or a whirlwind - ungrounded. I miss tonka from the EDT, it gave the scent a nice base, absent here.

Not a fan of cardamom or lavender, I find this perfume abrasive and cloying at the same time, overdone, and unpleasant in general, though I recognize it's probably in large part due to my personal preferences. Cardamom enjoyers should be satisfied.
