This is a citrus cool scent, with bergamot center stage (although not dominating) in the beginning, so if you like Earl Gray tea you may like this fragrance. The main thing about it that comes to my mind is how well together they put it. It's like a German car of perfumes, not particularly flashy or original, but it does what it should do well. It's pleasant, inviting, and balanced. Imagine being on a beach, with the sun shining, a slight breeze, and the sea. That's the vibe of this fragrance.
It could use some more performance, but nonetheless is a timeless classic, as good now as thirty years ago.
